Vamos Bet Check Ticket: How to Quickly Verify Your Bet

This review is for players outside Ethiopia: the Ethiopian Lottery Service suspended the licences of all operators.

Checking a ticket is the one thing on a betting site that has to work when everything else is going wrong. It is how you prove what you staked and what it returned, and if the site later disappears it is the only record you control.

The straightforward version

• Open the site and find Check Ticket in the top navigation. On Vamos Bet it sits between Live Games and Promotions, so you do not need to be logged in to reach it.
• Enter the ticket or coupon ID exactly as printed, including any letters. These codes are case-sensitive more often than people expect.
• Submit, and the slip comes back with each selection, the stake, the odds and the current status of every leg.
• If you placed the bet in a shop rather than online, the code on the paper slip is the same code the online checker wants.

That is the whole procedure and it takes about fifteen seconds. The reason this page is longer than fifteen seconds of reading is everything underneath it.

I know how that sounds. Do it anyway.

I have spent this year watching Ethiopian operators go dark. Lalibet is currently showing a maintenance page that says bet placement and withdrawals both return once services reopen, with no date. Habesha Bet’s address does not belong to a betting company any more at all. In both cases the customers who could show a record of what they held were in a different position from the ones who could not.

A ticket check on screen is evidence. A ticket check you remember seeing is not. Capture the slip, the stake, the odds and the timestamp, and keep it somewhere that is not the operator’s app.

When the checker says something you did not expect

• Ticket not found. Usually a typo, so retype it rather than pasting. If it still fails on a code you can see printed in front of you, that is worth escalating immediately, not tomorrow.
• Status pending long after the match ended. Settlement delays are normal for an hour or two. A day is not normal and it is worth a support message with your screenshot attached.
• Odds different from what you remember. This is why the screenshot at placement matters more than the one at settlement.
• The checker itself will not load. Note the time and try from a different connection before assuming anything. Then check whether the rest of the site is up.

When a ticket wins and the money does not arrive

The checker is only useful if you know what to do when it disagrees with your balance. This is the sequence I would follow, and the order matters.

• Screenshot the settled ticket immediately, showing the selections, the stake, the odds and the status. Do this before contacting anybody, because a slip can be re-settled.
• Check the settlement rules for the specific market, particularly on void legs, postponed fixtures and dead heats. A large share of these disputes are correct settlements that look wrong.
• Raise it in writing, not on the phone, so you have a record of what was said and when.
• Give it a working day before escalating. Settlement genuinely lags on some feeds.
• If it is still unresolved, withdraw whatever balance you can while you continue the dispute. Do not leave money on a platform you are already arguing with.

One thing worth knowing about the current market: there is no regulator that can compel payment. Every Ethiopian licence was revoked on 15 December 2025. A report to the Ethiopian Lottery Service on 9695 creates a record but not a remedy, so your own documentation is doing more work than it used to.

The context you should have

Vamos Bet was one of only six brands out of 59 that I found open and working when I checked them all by hand on 25 August 2026. It carried live prices and a functioning betslip, which is more than most of this market can say right now.

It holds no Ethiopian licence, because nobody does. The Ethiopian Lottery Service revoked every licence on 15 December 2025 and confirmed on 30 July 2026 that no organisation operates here with a legal one. Keep your own records accordingly. The full brand-by-brand breakdown is on the status page.
